Railo, Railo, Railo ...the buzz is on for quite some time and I was eager to get some hosting account going. A 'hint' from the swiss headquarter led me to Alurium.
After a little browse I just decided to go for it and purchase a hosting package to find out how the RAILO hosting is working. After a few really minor hick ups (the service is brand new) everything was set for staging some of my MM coldfusion sites. And to cut the story short: Everything was running out of the box !! The only difference was that the Railo environment seems to be super fast.
Just another little episode: Of course I had quite a few questions towards
Alurium about this and that but the response from the support staff was
incredible. And trust me, I sent issues/questions/suggestions every 10 minutes ;-)
I had the feeling that I have my own 'team' working for me at Alurium and that
is what counts in a shared hosting environment - top notch support. Still not sure
where my Railo train goes somewhere, but if it does, the Alurium team will be

Alurium have been fantastic from the very start! Their support team is quick and responsive to my needs regardless of my hosting plan and every issue so far has been resolved within the same day.
The pricing is great and it's perfect for those wanting to migrate their existing CFML applications away from expensive Adobe technology and onto the open source Railo engine - which I might add has been blazing fast, frequently updated and 100% compatible with my CF8 code (no changes were required).
I now host two websites with Alurium and I hope that this will only continue to grow in the future. Thanks guys!
